Syllabus review

The FOSS community India "syllabus review" initiative aims at culling out all the proprietary bias that exist within the syllabus of many educational institutes across India. Their wiki allows people to add and edit information on brand names that are being mentioned in the syllabus at various levels of education like Primary, Secondary and Professional. This could be understood as a progressive step taken to ensure that syllabi is vendor-neutral and not biased in favour of products of particular firms.
